How Did I Get Here?
I grew up in an active family, the youngest of five kids, under the sweet wing of my ultra talented and humble Dad. He was the first one to teach me how to play tennis; the emotional treasures of being on the court alone, the opportunities for grace, generosity, and kindness that are unique to the game, and the sheer joy of the movement, flow, and creativity that I could access when I played. My heart and soul was at home on the tennis court for many, many years. I loved it so much and played through college, until I became distracted by other pursuits.
After college and grad school, I worked in the psychology field for nearly 2 decades as a psychotherapist, gathering new modalities over the years, and researching further into energy psychology and consciousness.
And then my Dad passed away.
Shortly after he died, I felt the tennis court start whispering to me, inviting me back to the comfort and adventure of tennis. The gift of tennis that my Dad gave me as a child is now more important than ever to me. I am back on the tennis court because it is where I feel most happy, alive, connected, and aligned. Now Iām bridging my experiences with tennis and psychology and everything in between to return to tennis with a whole new depth of intention: to use tennis for optimal joy, beauty, and growth in every way.
I know we can find our thriving through the set and setting of the tennis court.
If my work resonates with you, I would love to work together!
